President Barack Obama has repeatedly claimed that his budget would cut the deficit by half by the end of his term. But as Heritage analyst Brian Riedl has pointed out, given that Obama has already helped quadruple the deficit with his stimulus package, pledging to halve it by 2013 is hardly ambitious.

Obama is claiming that the big hit in 09 is Bush's fault. Unlike 9/11 which was also Bush's fault.
Never mind that the deficit at the end of Obama's first and hopefully last term will probably be double what the deficit was at the end of the 2nd Bush Administration.
So....everything that goes right is brought to us by Dems AND all things bad are imposed upon us by the GOP. So much for bipartisanship.
On 9/12/09, as far as I'm concerned the whole kit and kaboodle belongs to the Obama administration.
The real scary part is that many Americans are buying the Obama administration view.
Obama's poll numbers are beginning to turn negative. As people begin to understand what he is trying to do his poll numbers should go down further.
