Obama no longer stressing August deadline for passing health reform bill - Jonathan Martin - POLITICO.com
In his most recent remarks, President Obama has stopped mentioning what had been his mantra — that the House and Senate finish their health-care bills by the August recess — and switched to a less specific call to fast action.
The increased flexibility follows resistance by key senators in both parties to what they have called an "artificial deadline."

I can't belive the Republicans would like Obama to accept personal ownership of the economy. First,they had eight years to fix the economy and did not get it done. Now they would like him to correct the issue within 6 months, its not going to happen. We will have to be patient and it will turn around.They should accept the responsibility of ruining the economy and stop pointing fingers.
I was against many of the expenditures of the last 8 years, at the same time our national debt is being massively expanded through Obama. It also goes back to what he promised and how quickly. It hasn't started working and he is getting nailed for it.
We need to also get out of the automotive business...all these big government agendas are beginning to hurt him.
Long story short, if you promise something you had better deliver or it will cost you politically.
